Abstract:
Provided is a digital broadcast receiver with a recording function, capable of automatically changing a recording destination in a timer recording. The digital broadcast receiver comprises: a connection means (5) connecting to another device with a recording function; an interface means (11) for, in a timer recording, receiving a timer-recording setting in which own recording function is prioritized; and a control means (21) for, when the recording setting in which own recording function is prioritized is set by the interface means, determining, upon performing a timer recording, whether recording is possible or not by own recording function and performing control so that when the recording is possible, the recording is performed by own recording function and when the recording is impossible, the timer recording is performed by the another device connected to the connection means.
