Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a near-infrared imaging probe compound for targeting hepsin which is overexpressed in metastatic cancer; and a composition for near-infrared imaging for metastatic cancer diagnosis, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating metastatic cancer, both compositions comprising the probe. The compound according to the present invention is a fluorescent imaging probe comprising a fluorescent substance such as a BODIPY derivative and Sulfo-Cyanine7 and targeting hepsin, and has excellent heptin inhibitory activity and is confirmed, by cell uptake results, to selectively bind to cells in which hepsin is expressed, thereby enabling the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of carcinoma, such as prostate cancer, in which hepsin is overexpressed at an early stage, and being variously usable in the development of hepsin inhibitors for diagnosing prostate cancer.
