Abstract:
A method of preparing a unit cell of a direct carbon fuel cell using a cylindrical fuel electrode support according to an embodiment of the technical concept of the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing nickel oxide (NiO) and yttria-stabilized zirconia (Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2) as main ingredients, quantifying carbon black as a pore-forming agent for preparing a porous support, mixing, drying and sieving a high-purity zirconia ball and a solvent to form powder, and kneading the powder to prepare a paste; after the paste is ripened at a low temperature, forming a cylindrical fuel electrode support, of which one end is opened and the other end is closed by pre-extruding and extrusion molding, and which uses carbon and molten carbonate as raw material; performing a rolling dry and pre-sintering to the fuel electrode support; after performing the pre-sintering, forming a fuel electrode through a dip coating method and a vacuum slurry coating method using NiO/YSZ particle slurry; forming an electrolyte layer using electrolyte slurry on the outer surface of the fuel electrode through a dip coating method and a vacuum slurry coating method; and forming an air electrode coated with a composite electrode in which an LSM-YSZ layer, an LSM layer and an LSCF layer are sequentially formed on the outer surface of the electrolyte layer through a dip coating method and a vacuum slurry coating method.
