Abstract:
Provided is a directional coupler which is able to be reduced in size, while being also able to be planarized in coupling characteristics. A directional coupler (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention is used in a predetermined frequency band. This directional coupler (1) is provided with a first terminal (P1), a second terminal (P2), a third terminal (P3), a fourth terminal (P4), a main line (M) and a sub-line (S). The main line (M) is connected between the first terminal (P1) and the second terminal (P2). The sub-line (S) is connected between the third terminal (P3) and the fourth terminal (P4). A low pass filter (LPF1) is formed within the sub-line (S).
