Title:
DISCHARGE CHARACTERISTIC CALCULATION DEVICE FOR COMPOSITE BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/195253
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a discharge characteristic calculation device for a composite battery, said discharge characteristic calculation device being capable of simply and highly accurately calculating discharge characteristics of the whole composite battery wherein two types of secondary batteries having different characteristics are combined. A discharge characteristic calculation device 10 for a composite battery has a composite battery unit 20, voltage detection unit 30, current detection unit 40, charge rate detection unit 50, and characteristic calculation unit 60. The composite battery unit 20 is formed by connecting in parallel a lithium ion secondary battery 22, and an aqueous solution-based secondary battery 24 using an aqueous electrolyte. The voltage detection unit 30 detects the voltage value of the composite battery unit 20, and the current detection unit 40 detects the value of a current flowing to the composite battery unit 20. The charge rate detection unit 50 detects the quantity of electricity flowing to/from the lithium ion secondary battery 22, and/or the voltage value of the lithium ion secondary battery 22, and calculates the charge rate of the lithium ion secondary battery 22. The characteristic calculation unit 60 calculates, using the values detected or calculated by the voltage detection unit 30, current detection unit 40, and charge rate detection unit 50, the discharge characteristics of the composite battery.
