Abstract:
A pivotal movement of a loading arm (21) is converted into a linear movement in
the left-right direction of a rack plate (31), and differences between positions
of the rack plate (31) caused by optical disk diameters are detected by two switches
(71, 72). A motor (65) is controlled, based on the result of the detection, for
a plurality of kinds of optical disks with different diameters, and the control
is made for the timing of the start of loading, the position of stop of an optical
disk when ejection is completed, the timing of the start of reloading, etc.
