Abstract:
Disclosed is a kit for use in the detection of the protein-protein interaction which
can detect the interaction between a protein X and a protein Y in an eukaryotic cell
with higher sensitivity than that in a conventional method. The kit comprises first
chimeric DNA capable of expressing a fusion molecule [DNA-binding peptide/half-intein/protein X],
second chimeric DNA capable of expressing a fusion molecule [protein Y/half-intein/transcriptionally active
peptide], and third chimeric DNA capable of expressing a reporter molecule when
bound to a fusion molecule [transcriptionally active peptide/DNA-binding peptide].
