Abstract:
Disclosed is a display apparatus, wherein, when displaying a list of a plurality of thumbnails, the manner in which the thumbnails are displayed is improved. The display apparatus is provided with a displaying means having a display area; an obtaining means for obtaining information about a plurality of display data; a display controlling means for displaying a list of thumbnails of the plurality of display data, within the display area; and an operating means having selection keys, for selecting each of the thumbnails, arranged in at least one row along an outer edge of the display area. The display controlling means displays the plurality of thumbnails within the display area so as to have portions thereof superimposed with each other, and so as to have the positions thereof correspond to the positions of the selection keys, and displays, when a selection key is pressed, an image based on the display data of the thumbnail that corresponds to the pressed selection key, on the display area.
