Abstract:
A display apparatus (10) and a method for controlling the same are provided. The display apparatus (10) includes a display unit (14), a light sensor (12), a cooling fan (131, 132), and a controller (11). The light sensor (12) is configured to detect an ambient light and generate a brightness value indicating brightness of the ambient light. The cooling fan (131, 132) is configured to generating a fluid flow in the display apparatus (10). The controller (11) is configured to monitor the brightness value per a time period and control a rotational speed of the cooling fan (131, 132) based on the brightness value.
