Abstract:
A display apparatus and a related display method are provided. The display apparatus comprises: a display panel; a memory unit for storing user fingerprint information; a fingerprint recognition unit embedded in the display panel for recognizing current fingerprint data of a finger when the finger is sliding on the display panel, and determining a sliding direction of the finger; and a control unit for comparing the current fingerprint data of the finger with the user fingerprint information, and upon matching, controlling a display on the display panel based on the sliding direction of the finger.
