A display apparatus (10), a display system and a resolution adjustment method. The display apparatus (10) comprises a display screen (11), and also comprises: a distance sensor (12) and an adjustment unit (13), wherein the distance sensor (12) comprises: a particle transmitter (121) for transmitting a first particle beam to a viewer, and a particle receiver (122) for receiving a first particle beam reflected by the viewer; and the adjustment unit (13) adjusts, according to energy density of the transmitted first particle beam and energy density of the received first particle beam, the resolution of the display screen (11). By means of the technical solution, the resolution of a display screen (11) can be adjusted according to a viewing distance between a viewer and the display screen (11). In the case where the viewing distance of a user is relatively large, the resolution of the display screen (11) can be appropriately decreased, and the power consumption of the display screen (11) can be reduced on the premise of guaranteeing a viewing effect of the user.
