Abstract:
This display device (1) for a vehicle is provided with: a first attention-capturing display (41) which has four light-emitting elements (41a – 41d) that emit light, which is provided to the left side to the front of the driver's seat, and which, by utilizing reflection from the windshield (W), directs the light from the four light-emitting elements (41a – 41d) in the direction of the driver's seat; and a second attention-capturing display (42) which has four light-emitting elements (42a – 42d) that emit light, which is provided to the right side to the front of the driver's seat, and which, by utilizing reflection from the windshield (W), directs the light from some elements (42c, 42d) among the four light-emitting elements (42a – 42d), while by utilizing reflection from the door window (D), directs the light from the other elements (42c, 42d), in the direction of the driver's seat, thereby making possible symmetrical display with respect to the first attention-capturing display (41) at times of visual contact by the driver.
