Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a configuration that allows the luminance of a display device to be quickly controlled. This display control device controls a display device that displays a peripheral image obtained by imaging the periphery of a vehicle and comprises an acquisition unit and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires a face feature amount based on an image of the face of the driver of the vehicle. The control unit controls a peripheral image luminance which is the luminance of the peripheral image displayed on the display device, on the basis of a specific face feature amount which is the face feature amount acquired by the acquisition unit while the driver is not looking at the surrounding image.
