Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an endoscope light source device in which heat can be efficiently dissipated, and which makes light from a light source incident on an optical fiber with good efficiency, and to provide an endoscope having the endoscope light source device. An endoscope light source device (100) has a semiconductor laser (10) for emitting light, a condensing lens (11) for condensing the light emitted from the semiconductor laser (10), a plate (12) for shielding at least a portion of the light emitted from the semiconductor laser (10) and transmitting the non-shielded light as transmitted light, an optical fiber (15) on which the transmitted light transmitted through the plate (12) is incident, a pigtail (17) for fixing the respective position of and retaining at least any one of the semiconductor laser (10), the condensing lens (11), and the plate (12), and a heat dissipation fin (13) for dissipating heat generated in the plate (12) to the outside of the pigtail (17).
