Abstract:
The purpose according to the present invention relates to a display device comprising: a connection unit for connection to an external device; a signal reception unit for receiving an image signal from an external device; a display unit for displaying an image on the basis of an image signal; and a processor for receiving, from an external device, an audio signal output in response to a control signal transmitted to the external device, and determining whether the external device has operated in response to the transmitted control signal, on the basis of whether a time point at which the control signal has been transmitted matches with a silent section included in the audio signal.
