Abstract:
According to the purpose, a display device according to the present invention comprises: a display unit having a screen on which an image can be displayed; and a processor for displaying, on the screen of the display unit, a content image formed from a plurality of frames, determining whether content is in an idle state on the basis of a change in an image between consecutive first and second frames, and performing an operation according to whether the determined content state is idle, wherein the processor determines a change in an image in a first region including the center of the screen by providing a weight greater than that of a change in an image in a second region positioned near the first region.
