Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to improve light extraction efficiency while achieving a desired viewing angle characteristic on a pixel-by-pixel basis. [Solution] Provided is a display device provided with: a plurality of light emission portions formed on a substrate; and a reflector which, with respect to each of the plurality of light emission portions located in at least a partial region within a display surface, is provided in a layer above the light emission portion, and reflects part of emitted light from the light emission portion by the lower surface thereof, wherein the light emission portion and the reflector are disposed in a state where the center of the reflector deviates from the center of a light-emitting surface of the light emission portion within a plane perpendicular to a lamination direction such that rays of light emitted in directions other than a desired direction out of rays of the emitted light from the light emission portion are reflected.
