Abstract:
Provided are a display device and an electronic device capable of realizing both good display quality and excellent touch operability when an image is to be displayed. The display device according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a display part having disposed therein a plurality of pixels each provided with a first memory capable of storing a digital signal; a non-display part that surrounds the display part; a first driver that is disposed in the non-display part and that supplies a plurality of the digital signals to the plurality of the first memories; and a plurality of touch detection electrodes that are disposed so as to oppose the first driver. The display part displays an image by having driving potentials of the pixels set to potentials corresponding to the digital signals stored in the first memories. The first driver is provided with a plurality of second memories for storing digital signals to be supplied to the first memories. The potentials corresponding to the digital signals stored in the second memories are all set to the same potential when touch detection is performed by the plurality of touch detection electrodes.
