Abstract:
A traveling vehicle system (1) includes a travel control unit (41) which, upon generation of a transport command, searches for a travel route for a traveling vehicle (5) to travel to a predetermined station (ST) included in the transport command, on the basis of map information, and controls traveling of the traveling vehicle (5) in accordance with the travel route. The map information includes information about a specific point (SP) provided in association with at least one of a branch portion (BP) and a confluence portion (CP). In addition to one-way travel control for causing the traveling vehicle (5) to travel in one direction, the travel control unit (41) sets, in at least a portion of the travel route, a reverse travel section (S1, S2) in which the traveling vehicle (5) is caused to travel in the reverse direction to the one direction with the specific point (SP) as a start point or an end point, and executes return travel control for causing the traveling vehicle (5) to travel in the reverse direction to the one direction in the reverse travel section (S1, S2), thereby causing the traveling vehicle (5) to travel in accordance with the travel route.
