Abstract:
This display device has an inside bank layer (60) surrounding a display circuit layer (46), and an outside bank layer (62) surrounding the inside bank layer (60). A sealing layer (48) includes a first inorganic layer (52), a second inorganic layer (54), and an organic layer (50) interposed between the first inorganic layer (52) and the second inorganic layer (54). The first inorganic layer (52) and the second inorganic layer (54) are in contact with each other on the periphery of the organic layer (50) and seal the organic layer (50). The organic layer (50) has a circumferential edge at a position not exceeding the inside bank layer (60). The first inorganic layer (52) and the second inorganic layer (54) are reposed on the inside bank layer and have a circumferential edge on the outside bank layer (62). A resin layer (56) covers the entirety of a section that the first inorganic layer (52) and the second inorganic layer (54) have on the inside bank layer (60), and has a circumferential edge that is positioned above the outside bank layer (62) without being in contact therewith. The outside bank layer (62) has a height equal to or greater than that of the inside bank layer (60).
