Abstract:
A display device and a display method therefor. The display device comprises: a plurality of sub-pixels (1), each sub-pixel (1) comprising a light-emitting element (10) and a liquid crystal spatial light modulator (20), wherein the liquid crystal spatial light modulator (20) is located at a light-exiting side of the light-emitting element (10), and phase can be modulated after light emitted from the light-emitting element (10) passes through the liquid crystal spatial light modulator (20); a first control circuit (1C) configured to control the luminous intensity and chroma of the light-emitting element (10); and a second control circuit (2C) configured to control deflection of liquid crystals in the liquid crystal spatial light modulator (20) to modulate the phase.
