Abstract:

This display device is provided with a display unit that simultaneously displays a plurality of videos, a priority order setting unit for setting a priority order with respect to the plurality of videos, and a processing unit that displays the plurality of videos on the display unit. The processing unit determines whether or not the plurality of videos can be displayed on the display unit side by side without overlapping each other and without changing the resolution of the plurality of videos. If the processing unit determines that the plurality of videos can be displayed on the display unit side by side without overlapping each other and without changing the resolution, the plurality of videos are displayed on the display unit side by side without overlapping each other and without changing the resolution of the plurality of videos. If the processing unit determines that the plurality of videos cannot be displayed on the display unit side by side without overlapping each other and without changing the resolution of the plurality of videos, the resolution of at least one of the plurality of videos is changed on the basis of the resolution of the display unit, the resolution of the plurality of videos and the priority order, and the plurality of videos, including the video for which the resolution has been changed, is displayed on the display unit side by side without overlapping each other.
