Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic air cooling and warming device capable of high-speed heat transfer and insulation between magnetic bodies or the like. In order achieve the above, a heat transfer unit is disposed between a plurality of magnetic bodies, and the heat transfer unit has a first electrode (12) and a dielectric body (13) disposed adjacent thereto and a second electrode (14) disposed in a line with and insulated from the first electrode (12), the first electrode (12) and the second electrode (14) being disposed on a wall surface inside a gap (20). Sequentially energizing the first electrode (12) and the second electrode (14) in a line causes a liquid metal (18) to move in the gap (20) by an electro-wetting effect, thereby switching between heat transfer and insulation between magnetic bodies (10, 10').
