Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a display device for providing a function of searching for a product, a person, a place, or music appearing in a video, and an operation method therefor, wherein the display device comprises: a display unit which displays a video; a user input interface unit which receives a search command; a control unit which acquires video scene information at a time when the search command is received; and a network interface unit which receives information on a product included in a video scene at a time when the search command is received on the basis of the video scene information, wherein the display unit can display a search result screen including a product icon representing the product.
