Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device, comprising a timer (106), which measures time at a point when a touch commences and is detected upon a touch panel (104), a display control unit (102), which acquires coordinate information upon a display (101) that corresponds to the position of the touch upon the touch panel (104), a control unit (113), which derives a degree of dragging of the position of the touch from the coordinate information acquired by the display control unit (102), and an enlarged display control unit (111), which, when the time measured by the timer (106) exceeds a preset time, and the degree of dragging of the position of the touch that is derived by the control unit (113) falls within a preset range, displays upon the display (101), at a position other than the position of the touch, in an enlarged manner, a predetermined region centered upon coordinates that the coordinate information designates. A display device with a small screen, such as a portable terminal, thereby facilitates reliable selection of a desired link, while also keeping track of an entire browser window.
