Abstract:
A resin base (10), a TFT layer (20), a luminescent element layer, and a sealing film are formed in this order on a supporting base. A first film is bonded to the sealing film, and the supporting base is separated from the resin base (10). A second film is bonded to the surface of the resin base (10) from which the supporting base has been separated. Those portions of the first film which lie in a terminal part and bending parts are removed. That portion of the second film which lies in a bending part (B) is removed. A resin material is applied to the bending part (B) from which the first film has been removed, in a strip pattern parallel to a first direction. The applied resin material is cured to form a reinforcing layer (43) in which, in a sectional view along a second direction, both ends have thicknesses (Ha) greater than the thickness (Hb) of the center.
