The disclosed display device presents designated information to a user (P). The display device is equipped with a concave mirror (2), an operation unit (4) and a distance adjustment unit (5). The concave mirror (2) is provided in such a manner that the optical distance between an image (information display medium) (A) and the concave mirror (2) is greater than the focal distance of the concave mirror (2). The concave mirror (2) is formed in such a manner that a real image (B) of the image (A) floats in space. The operating unit (4) acquires information regarding visual acuity of the user (P). The distance adjustment unit (5) changes the optical distance between the image (A) and the concave mirror (2) in accordance with the visual acuity determined by the operation unit, within a range that is greater than the focal distance of the concave mirror. Thus, when the designated information is presented to the user (P), visibility for the user (P) increases and a deterioration in visual acuity is suppressed.
