Abstract:
When initiating display (i.e. when switching the display) of a shift indicator (25), a display (111) displays the shift indicator (25) smaller than a size thereof in a normal state, subsequently enlarges the shift indicator (25) gradually, and, after the shift indicator (25) has reached a size greater than the size thereof in the normal state, gradually reduces the size of the shift indicator (25) to the size thereof in the normal state, thereby initiating display of the shift indicator (25) with the size thereof in the normal state. As a result, provided is a display device with which a driver can easily apprehend a current shift position.
