Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments provide a display device capable of performing an information display function and a mirror function. Also, provided is a display device for displaying an object in a state where the device is turned off. Also, provided is a display device including a partition wall provided in a space between electrodes of a cholesteric liquid crystal display element. Also, provided is a transparent display device which enhances visibility by using a cholesteric liquid crystal. A display device according to the disclosed embodiments comprise: a display panel; and an auxiliary panel, provided on the front surface of the display panel, for displaying a predetermined object when driving of the display panel ends.
