Abstract:
The present invention achieves a narrower frame than was previously possible in a non-conventional display (typically, a display device having a form in which a non-display area is provided between display areas). Provided is a display device having a non-rectangular display area (400) wherein, for example, sub gate drivers are provided in the following manner in areas where bypass wiring is conventionally disposed. In the display device having the concave display area (400) that includes two protruding parts (a left protruding part (410L) and a right protruding part (410R)), a sub gate driver (200 (s2)), which is for driving some gate bus lines that are disposed in the left protruding part (410L), is provided in the vicinity of the left protruding part (410L) out of the area inside a concave part (500), and a sub gate driver (200 (s1)), which is for driving some of the gate bus lines that are disposed in the right protruding part (410R), is provided in the vicinity of the right protruding part (410R) out of the area inside the concave part (500).
