Abstract:
A display device can be provided with which it is possible, for even a thin display panel, to reduce stress to a display panel due to fixation and prevent display unevenness. A display device provided with: a display panel (1); a case body (8) for supporting the display panel (1); and a metal frame (9) disposed on the front surface of the display panel (1), said metal frame (9) being partly bent along the outer circumferential wall surface (83) of the base body (8), and having a plurality of securing parts (94) that can be secured to the case body (8), wherein: the case body (8) has a first holding part (87) that engages in one side of the display panel (1) and a flexible second holding part (88) that engages in a side facing the one side across a space S; and the frame (9) has a securing part (94) on one side and is provided, on the side facing the securing part (94), with a pressing piece (95) that brings the second holding part (88) into contact with the display panel (1).
