Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of reducing ghosting in captured images as one of the problems to be addressed for a display device that captures an image via a liquid crystal panel. The display device includes a liquid crystal panel having a plurality of pixels and an imaging element arranged behind the liquid crystal panel; the plurality of pixels is controlled so that black-display pixels and white-display pixels are alternately arranged in the row direction in accordance with the operation of the imaging element in the imaging region that overlaps the imaging element in the liquid crystal panel. Further, the black-display pixels and the white-display pixels may be alternately arranged in the columnar direction.
