Abstract:
This display device is provided with: a display unit (1) that is flexible and can be formed into a curved shape; a shape information output unit (2) that outputs a signal in accordance with shape information of the display unit; a content classification unit (31) that extracts, from an image displayed on the display unit, a first region that is a first portion including at least one of a character, a numeral, and a signal in the image or that includes the first portion and a partial region adjacent to the first portion; and a content correction unit (32) that, when the display unit has a curved shape, selectively corrects the first region in the image such that, in an image display surface (1a) located on the side where the image is displayed on the display unit, the first region in the image is drawn and viewed on a virtual plane (P2) parallel with a plane (P1) formed by the image display surface assuming that the display unit is a flat plate.
