Abstract:
A display device (100) comprises: a casing (10); and a protective panel (22) provided such that the back surface thereof covers a display face (21a) of a display panel (21), and having an outer peripheral edge section (22a) of the back surface not contacting the display face (21a) and fixed to the front surface of the casing (10) by using adhesives (31, 32). The time it takes for the adhesive (32) to harden and exhibit adhesive force is shorter than the time it takes for the adhesive (31) to harden and exhibit adhesive force, and the adhesive force when the adhesive (32) has hardened is less than the adhesive force when the adhesive (31) has hardened. The adhesive (32) is applied on one portion of a long-side section of the outer peripheral edge section (22a).
