Abstract:
This electric motor comprises: a rotating shaft; a rotor fixed to the rotating shaft; a stator having a stator core that surrounds the rotor from the radially outer side thereof, and a coil wound on the stator core; a circuit board; a contour member for surrounding the stator and the circuit board; and a bearing for supporting the rotating shaft. The bearing has an inner race and an outer race, the outer race being electrically insulated from the stator core. The circuit board has a first line and a second line that supply DC voltages, the first line being at a first electric potential, and the second line being at a second electric potential higher than the first electric potential. At least one of L1=L2 and A1=A2 holds for the distance L1 from the first line to the outer race, the distance L2 from the second line to the outer race, the facing area A1 of the first line and the outer race, and the facing area A2 of the second line and the outer race.
