Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular display device that makes it possible to report abnormalities even when there is an abnormality at a control unit. A display device 10 comprises a display unit 6, a reporting unit 2 that reports abnormalities at the display device 10 when turned on, and a control unit 3 that controls the display unit 6 and the reporting unit 2. The control unit 3 comprises: a first output terminal A that outputs a high signal when an abnormality has occurred at the display device 10 and outputs a low signal when there are no abnormalities at the display device 10; and a second output terminal B that outputs a low signal when an abnormality has occurred at the display device 10 and outputs a high signal when there are no abnormalities at the display device 10. The display device 10 comprises: a transistor 4 that turns the reporting unit 2 on when the high signal has been outputted from the first output terminal A; and an FET 20 and a transistor 40 that turn the reporting unit 2 on when the low signal has been outputted from the second output terminal B.
