Abstract:
This display equipment: comprises a display unit that projects an image on a light-permeable display member; and forms a virtual image of the image projected by the display unit, on the opposite side to the user-side of the display member. The display unit comprises: a display device having a display area and a non-display area formed in the periphery of the display area; a display control unit that inputs image signals to the display device in order to display prescribed images in the display area; and a projection optical system that projects images displayed in the display device, on to the display member. In the optical path from the display device to the display member, the projection optical system comprises a first reflective member arranged on the display device side and a second reflective member arranged on the display member side. The display control unit is configured such that the image display position is variable, within the display area, by controlling the image signals input to the display device.
