Abstract:
A display method and a terminal. The method comprises: receiving a portrait/landscape screen switching instruction (S202 and S902); reading a display property of an application currently being displayed and acquiring, on the basis of the display property, portrait/landscape screen orientation configuration information of the application for displaying the page (S203 and S903); if the portrait/landscape screen orientation configuration information sets that the page only supports display in a single orientation, then modifying the portrait/landscape screen orientation configuration information and a page display size for the application (S204 and S904); switching between portrait and landscape screens on the basis of the portrait/landscape screen switching instruction (S205 and S905); displaying on an interface having switched between portrait and landscape screens the application for which the page display size is modified (S206 and S906). The method increases display effects of the terminal and user experience.
