Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a display panel and a display apparatus, which are used for improving the light extraction efficiency. The display panel comprises a substrate, a light-emitting layer, an encapsulation layer, a plurality of lens elements and a light-transmitting layer. The light-emitting layer is arranged on one side of the substrate and comprises a plurality of light-emitting units, which are arranged at intervals, and a pixel definition layer is arranged between adjacent light-emitting units. The encapsulation layer is arranged on the side of the light-emitting layer away from the substrate. The plurality of lens elements are arranged on the side of the encapsulation layer away from the light-emitting layer, and projections of the lens elements on the substrate at least partially overlap a projection of the pixel definition layer on the substrate. The light-transmitting layer is arranged on the side of the encapsulation layer away from the light-emitting layer, at least part of the light-transmitting layer is located between adjacent lens elements, and a projection of the light-transmitting layer on the substrate at least partially overlaps projections of the light-emitting units on the substrate. Each lens element has a side surface in contact with the light-transmitting layer, and the refractive index of the lens element at the side surface thereof is smaller than the refractive index of the light-transmitting layer.
