Abstract:
A display panel and a display device. The display panel comprises: a first substrate (1) and a second substrate (2) arranged oppositely. A liquid crystal layer (3) is filled between the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (2). A dielectric anisotropy parameter of the liquid crystal layer (3) ranges from -1 F/m to 1 F/m. The sum of a bending flexoelectric coefficient and a splayed flexoelectric coefficient of the liquid crystal layer (3) is greater than 1 pc/m. Liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer (3) are deflected by means of a flexoelectric effect, such that the deflection speed of the liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer (3) is increased, and the response time of the liquid crystal layer (3) is shortened.
