Abstract:
A display panel drive device and a display apparatus are provided. The display panel drive device (10) comprises a source driver chip (11), a plurality of leads (12), and a multiplexer (13). The source driver chip (11) comprises a plurality of source drive signal output ports (111) disposed side by side for outputting source drive signals. The leads (12) are distributed in a fan shape, and each of the leads (12) is connected to one of the source drive signal output ports (111). Lengths of the leads (12) gradually increase from the center to both ends of the leads (12) disposed side by side. The multiplexer (13) is connected to the leads (12), for transmitting the source drive signals respectively transmitted by the leads (12) to a plurality of data lines of a display panel, and for adjusting the source drive signals of different strengths transmitted by the leads (12), such that the source drive signals can enter the data lines at the same strength. The display apparatus comprises a display panel and the display panel drive device. The display apparatus can enhance homogeneity of display of the panel screen and improve the display effect.
