Abstract:
Provided are: a display panel module, to which an electronic component functioning to the front surface side of the display panel module can be attached, while suppressing deterioration of the effective display rate of a display surface; and a display device.
The present invention provides a display panel module that is equipped with a display panel (109) having a display surface (101), and a mold frame (113) that supports the display panel (109). A side surface of the display panel module is provided with a housing space capable of housing therein an electronic component (105) functioning to the front surface side of the display panel module.
