A display panel and a preparation method therefor, and a display apparatus. The display panel comprises: a first substrate (2); a drive circuit layer (22), comprising multiple thin film transistors (TFT); and a planarization layer (3), comprising a first portion (301), a second portion (302), and a third portion (303), a thickness of the first portion (301) being less than a thickness of the second portion (302), a thickness of the third portion (303) being less than the thickness of the second portion (302), and the first portion (301) comprising a first via hole (304). A light-emitting device (4) comprises an anode (401); the anode (401) covers the first portion (301) and a side surface of the second portion (302) adjacent to the first portion (301); an included angle (α) between a surface of the anode (401) covering a side surface of the second portion (302) facing away from a side surface of the first substrate (2) and a plane parallel to the first substrate (2) is greater than 0; the anode (401) is electrically connected to a thin film transistor (TFT) by means of the first via hole (304); and an orthographic projection of the pixel definition layer (5) onto the first substrate (2) covers an orthographic projection of the first via hole (304) onto the first substrate (2).
