Disclosed are a display substrate and a manufacturing method therefor, and a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. The display substrate comprises a base, and a light-emitting structure layer, a color film layer, a first flat layer and an optical layer that are arranged on the base, wherein the color film layer is located on the side of the light-emitting structure layer away from the base; the first flat layer is located on the side of the color film layer away from the base; and the optical layer is located on the side of the first flat layer away from the base, and is configured to gather light emitted from the color film layer. The display substrate further comprises a transistor, wherein an active layer of the transistor is formed inside the base; the surface of the color film layer in the display area far away from the base is uneven; a first thickness is the maximum thickness of the color film layer in the display area, and a second thickness is the minimum thickness of the color film layer in the display area; and the difference between the first thickness and the second thickness is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the first flat layer.
