Abstract:
A frame contrast enhancement method, display terminal, and computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: upon acquisition of each frame, a display terminal dividing said frame into regions, and extracting block information from the regions (S1); analyzing the block information of adjacent regions, and performing dynamic merging to obtain a merged region (S2); analyzing the merged region, and calculating an average picture luminance (APL) value thereof (S3); and employing, according to the calculated APL value, a corresponding contrast enhancement curve to enhance the contrast of the frame (S4). The method enables a high level of frame details to be displayed while enhancing the contrast of a frame.
