Abstract:
There is provided a display unit including: a first substrate (10); a second substrate (20) disposed oppositely to the first substrate (10); a light-transmission or reflection-controllable display layer (30) provided between the first substrate (10) and the second substrate (20); and a seal layer (41) provided between the first substrate (10) and the display layer (30), and having a melting temperature of about 120 degrees Celsius or higher and about 250 degrees Celsius or lower, so that swelling of the seal layer (41) during high temperature storage is avoided.
