Abstract:
In order to recognize the proximity of a coil without an increase in material costs or manufacturing costs, a liquid crystal display of the present invention is provided with a TFT substrate (6) and a CF substrate (7), and a touch panel (2) is provided with a plurality of touch sensitive electrodes (3) that are formed on the TFT substrate (6) for detecting capacities or changes in the capacities between the touch panel and a touching object, and proximity sensor electrodes (4) that are formed on the CF substrate (7) for detecting the proximity of a coil (10).
