Abstract:
Disclosed is a displaying apparatus provided with: a displaying unit for displaying an image, and letting an observer observe a stereo image; detection units for detecting light from the retinas of the eyes of the observer, and detecting the focus point of the eyes of the observer; a blurring control unit for generating blurs at each of the areas of an image to be displayed on a displaying unit, in accordance with the amount of deviation between sections of the stereo image corresponding to those areas, and the focus point. The blurring control unit executes vignette processing to image data given to the displaying unit, and generates bigger blurs the greater the amount of deviation is.
