Abstract:
Provided is a disposable wearable article which has a relatively thin absorbent core, and can temporarily diffuse or retain body fluid in an amount greater than or equal to the amount of liquid which can be retained in the absorbent core. The disposable wearable article includes leakage prevention cuffs (60), wherein the leakage prevention cuffs (60) each have a base end section (62) extending in the longitudinal direction (Y) and a free section stretchable in the longitudinal direction (Y), and a side extension section (61) extending in the longitudinal direction (Y) is located on the outer side in the transverse direction (X) of the base end section (62) of the leakage prevention cuff (60). The side extension section (61) has a hydrophilic layer (50), and hydrophobic layers (51, 52) covering the hydrophilic layer (50) in a thickness direction (Z).
