Abstract:

Provided is a disposable wearing article that, in a state of being worn, makes it possible to effectively prevent side leakage of excrement by pulling out to the outside in the lateral direction outside flaps that are positioned on the outside in the lateral direction of an absorbent core in an absorbent panel, and fitting in a planar shape to the body of a user. In a disposable wearing article (10), an absorbent panel (30) has: an absorbent core (33) that extends from a crotch area (13) to front-rear waist areas (11, 12); and a pair of outside flaps (42) that are positioned on the outside of both side edges of the absorbent core (33) in the lateral direction (X) and extend in a vertical direction (Y). At least the first waist area (11) of first and second waist areas (11, 12) has a waist elastic area that is stretchable in the lateral direction (X) and a pair of elastic strips (70) that stretchably extend in the lateral direction (X). The elastic strips (70) have inside fixing end sections (71) fixed to the outside flaps (42) of the absorbent panel (33), and outside fixing end sections (72) fixed to a skin-facing surface of a chassis (20).
